Maharastrian Misal Pav
Ingredients
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp haldi powder
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp special kanda lasoon masala( red chilli powder mixed with onion and garlic)
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp salt
2 cups boiled sprouts
1 cup hot water
2 pav (indian bread)
For Garnishing: 2 tbsp shev mixer, lemon juice 2 tbsp chopped onion and coriander and tomato. Method: 1. Heat a pan with oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions and tomatoes. Stir and fry until the onion turn to golden brown. 2. Then add haldi, ginger garlic paste, red chili and garam masala powders. Sprinkle salt, stir and mix well. 3. Now add the sprouts and hot water and boil for 5 minutes. 4. In serving bowl , Pour this misal and garnish with shev mixer, chopped onion , tomato and coriander. add lemon juice to it 5. Serve it with pav (bread)
