Chicken Pad Thai


Ingredients:

  • Rice Noodles - around 8 oz

  • Pad thai sauce - 3- 4 tbsp

  • Chicken (boneless) - 1 cup in small cubes

  • Garlic - 2 cloves

  • Green chillies - 2 small chpped finely ( optional)

  • Red chilli flakes - 1 tsp

  • Tamarind sauce - 1 tbsp

  • Peanuts - crushed - 1 cup

  • Lime - 1

  • Fish sauce - 1 tsp

  • Carrot - 1 - cut in small size

  • Chives - 3-4 cut in 3-4 inches size

  • Bean sprouts - 1 cup

  • Oil

  • Salt

Method:

  1. In large pot , take 3-4 cups of water to boil, add 1 tbsp oil then add rice noodles and cook it for 10- 11 mins or as per described on the packet,drained it and keep it aside.

  2. In another pan, heat 2-3 tbsp of oil and add chicken, fry till chicken become tender.

  3. Add finely chopped garlic and green chillies,saute it for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add rice noodles , pad thai sauce, tamarind sauce, fish sauce, red chilli flakes,mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Add all the vegetables (carrots,bean sprouts, chives),mix well and fry for another 2 minutes

  6. Add peanuts , lime juice and pinch of salt,mix and fry for 2-3 minute on high flame.

  7. Pad thai is ready to serve.

  8. Serve with crushed peanuts and lime wedge.
